St. Cloud Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly choked a woman in a park while she was walking on the road.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Calvary Park.
The 20-year-old woman said a man driving a red, four-door Pontiac approached her, threw her to the ground, and choked her. She got away but was caught again by the suspect and choked.
The woman was able to scream for help, and nearby residents responded. The man fled and was not found.
The suspect is described as a white man, 35-37 years old, medium height, weighing about 230 pounds. He had dark hair and was wearing a black shirt.
