More Property Seized from Petters

The court has officially seized more of Tom Petters’ property. The order came down Friday, seizing a property in Cornucopia, Wis., along with other items from Petters’ Wayzata home.
Items include a signed Sugar Ray Leonard boxing glove, a Randy Moss Vikings jersey, and autographed footballs and baseballs. They’ll be auctioned off to help repay the victims of a multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme.
The first forfeiture order was entered in 2010, but the government had to give people time to come forward and claim their property.
Petters is serving a 50-year sentence after his 2009 conviction.
