Today is the 14th Annual Governor’s Fire Prevention Day at the Minnesota State Fair. The celebration is recorded as the largest fire prevention recognition event in the country.
Earlier this morning there was a flag raising and firefighter memorial service at the Leinie Lodge to celebrate the occasion.
Kids participating in the Fire Explore Program have been participating in fire safety and life-saving activities all day throughout the fairgrounds.
