EmailAuthorities ID Wright Woman Killed in Train vs. Vehicle Crash
Authorities have identified the woman who died after a freight train hit a vehicle in Carlton County Wednesday.
According to the Carlton County Sheriff's Office, 67-year-old Susan McPhail of Wright was killed when a Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train hit a vehicle at the East Mud Lake crossing.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene they found one person, later identified as McPhail, dead in the vehicle.
Authorities are investigating this crash.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
