Minneapolis Hosts 2nd Public Meeting on Police Oversight Plan

Tonight is the second public meeting for proposed changes to the way Minneapolis handles complaints against police officers.
The first meeting, which took place last Thursday, was heated. The city wants to add investigators and combine a civilian board with internal affairs.
Officials say it will increase oversight and speed up investigations. Critics say the changes will give police too much power to choose who they investigate.
Today’s meeting is at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
