Minn. Student is 1 of 54 Kids Picked to Dine at White House
A Minnesota student got the chance to dine at the White House Monday.
Twelve-year-old Riley Sorenson is one of 54 kids picked to attend a special luncheon, with a focus on healthy eating hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. More than 1,200 kids, ages 8 to 12, entered a contest to create healthy lunch recipes.
Riley won for her creations: stuffed red peppers and banana oat stacks.
