Southbound Highway 100 Closing This Weekend

You may want to avoid Highway 100 again this weekend. MNDot will be closing southbound Highway 100 between Interstate 394 and Highway 62/Crosstown for maintenance work beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. It is expected to remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27.
The posted detour will take drivers west on Highway I-394 to Highway 169 south and then eastbound on Highway 62 in order to access southbound Highway 100.
As part of the maintenance work, crews will be inspecting overhead bridges and electrical systems, making bridge deck and joint repairs, sealing cracks, clearing and repairing drainage structures, repairing guardrails and refreshing pavement markings.
Last weekend, similar work was done on the northbound lanes.
