Cedar Valley Church is opening its doors to women in the community who have run into hardships in life.
This week, women who are facing family crises, abuse, loss of jobs or income, divorce, or other trials are invited to enjoy a night of pampering and relaxation at no cost during the “Pretty, Pretty” event. Women can come to the church for a free haircut, makeup session, manicure, and massage. They will also leave with a complete outfit and nonperishable food items.
Childcare will be provided, and registration isn’t necessary.
“Pretty, Pretty” takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Cedar Valley Church. It’s located at 8600 Bloomington Ave. S. in Bloomington.
