If you're headed downtown this weekend, you won't be able to get there on the light rail.
Metro Transit is shutting down part of the Hiawatha Line from about 5:30 p.m. Saturday until 3:30 a.m. Monday for maintenance work.
During that time, Route 55 buses will substitute between the Target Field and Franklin Avenue stations. Buses will operate more often than trains, but the trips will take longer.
