St. Paul Man Charged with Assault after Fight at Two Stooges

A St. Paul man has been charged with two counts of assault after a fight at Two Stooges in Fridley.

Police were called to the business around 1 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, on a report of a fight. A victim said he had been hit over the head with a glass object and had a large gash on his head.

Another victim told police he had been punched, shoved to the ground, and repeatedly kicked by a group.

Witnesses and victims told police 22-year-old Martin Bun Meas of St. Paul was the perpetrator. Meas matched the descriptions from the witnesses and had blood on his left shoe near the toe.

Meas has been charged with both second and fifth degree assault. If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison and $14,000 in fines for the second degree charge and up to 90 days in prison and $1,000 in fines on the fifth degree charge.
