EmailGopher Football Season Ticket Sales Slow
There’s a sign that the Gopher football program might need to turn itself around – student season tickets aren’t exactly flying off the shelf.
The Star Tribune reports about 2,000 students have bought season tickets so far. The number has been dropping every year since TCF Bank Stadium opened three years ago, going from 10,000 to 7,800 to 6,000.
The Gophers’ first home game is Thursday, Sept. 8.
