A power outage at Valleyfair that shut down the park Tuesday could change emergency response.
Valleyfair helped riders down from roller coasters and never asked for help from Shakopee police or fire departments.
Shakopee police don't have a policy in place with the park in the event of a power outage, now they may consider creating one.
Shakopee police say Valleyfair handled the situation well. The park tells us they have a power outage plan and this event never escalated to a point where they required help from emergency personal.
