Law Enforcement Leaders Invest in Kids to Prevent Crime

A few local law enforcement leaders will read to children at a preschool to promote the importance of education in preventing crime.

Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek and Chaska Police Department Captain Jon Kehrberg will read to kids at New Horizon Academy at Laurel Village Wednesday.

Stanek will then release a report showing how early childhood education can cut crime and power prison costs.
