With a new coach, Mound Westonka is ready for some football – so ready they just couldn’t wait till daylight for practice.
At 12:01 a.m., the Mound Westonka team started working out with a group of fans watching. They were so excited for the season that they wanted to get a jumpstart on practices.
The team has struggled in recent years; according to statistics, they were 1-8 last year and only won twice in the past four years.
