Minnesotans Participate in Community Garden Day
Plenty of people were digging in the dirt as part of Community Garden Day.
More than 55 community gardens joined the effort to let people know how these spaces are used in their neighborhood.
The garden in South Minneapolis, which has been around since 1966 was once a fourplex that was a source of crime.
Gardeners say the space has been a great way to bring people from different generations to work together.
