MN Dept. of Safety Hosts Teen Driving Event

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is helping make teens better drivers.
Today, the department will host more than 200 teens and their families in St. Cloud for a day of education and hands-on training. It comes after the state has seen tragedies on local roads, including the deaths of three New Richmond teens killed on Interstate-94 in Wisconsin. The driver was distracted and ran into the back of a semi truck at the end of July.
Traffic crashes are the leading killer of Minnesota teens.
