Mpls. Pilot Project Aims to Close Digital Divide
Some Minneapolis families will soon be able to use a computer in the comfort of their own home - something they've never done.
They're part of a pilot project with the city and several tech companies to give low-income families free computers.
They'll also receive free training and internet access for one year.
The goal is to make computer technology available to more families and close the digital divide.
