No One Hurt in SE Minn. Grain Elevator Explosion

A grain dust explosion and fire have damaged part of a grain elevator in southeastern Minnesota, but no one was hurt.
A Dodge County sheriff's dispatcher says the blast was reported at Kasson's Greenway Co-op just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
Co-op general manager Tim Clemens tells the Post-Bulletin of Rochester that damage from the fire is expected to be minimal.
The explosion happened in a "leg" that lifts corn. The leg is about 60 feet tall.
Firefighters from Kasson and Dodge Center responded.
The grain elevator was the focus of a $5.5 million expansion last year. Repairs are expected to be made in a day or two.
