EmailScott Walker's Wife Released from Hospital
Gov. Scott Walker's wife Tonette has been released from the hospital following an appendectomy.
Walker spokeswoman Julia Lund says that Tonette Walker was released from the hospital on Thursday and resting at home. She had the surgery on Wednesday after being admitted the night before with stomach pains.
Walker canceled his plans on Wednesday to be with her in the hospital. Walker spokeswoman Jocelyn Webster says the governor met with families of the victims of the Sikh shootings Thursday morning, then planned to spend the rest of the day with his wife.
