Mpls. Intersection Becomes Safer with New Stop Light

A new stop light was turned on this morning in hopes of making a dangerous intersection safer.
Seniors and people with disabilities who live in the area of Park Avenue South and 27th in Minneapolis are thrilled. They asked for changes after their neighbor, Louise Laugen, was hit and killed at the intersection eight months ago.
The city and county split the cost of installing crosswalks and traffic signals.
