Study Finds Link Between Kids’ Sleep, Media

A new study finds a link between the types of videos and TV shows kids watch and sleep problems.
Researchers with the Seattle Children’s Research Institute found kids ages 3-5 have fewer sleep problems when they watch age-appropriate movies and TV shows. It also helped to have parents watching with their children.
Kids fell asleep faster, had fewer nightmares, and had less difficulty waking in the morning.
More than 550 kids were studied.
