Western Minn. Prosecutor with Tumor Returning to Work

A western Minnesota prosecutor is preparing to return to work, months after doctors discovered a tumor on his pituitary gland.
Clay County Attorney Brian Melton was sidelined by a bout of encephalitis and the tumor while serving with the Minnesota National Guard in Kuwait last February.
Doctors placed Melton in a medically induced coma and treated him at military hospitals in Germany and Washington, D.C.
Melton returns to work Monday. He tells KFGO-AM that doctors at the Mayo Clinic are assessing his tumor, and that sooner or later, surgery will be required.
