EmailHutchinson Man Charged in Waconia Drug Bust
A Hutchinson man is charged in connection with a drug bust in Waconia. Police say they received a suspicious persons call on July 21. When they arrived on the scene they found two men believed to be in possession of drugs.
The Southwest Metro Drug Task Force was brought in and discovered a kilo of cocaine and $18,000. They say the cocaine had a street value of $30,000.
Officers arrested 40 year-old Gerado Esparza and charged him with three counts of first degree drug crimes. He faces 30 years in prison for each charge and a fine of $1, 000,000.
