Little Canada Man Charged in Roseville Shooting Incident

A 19-year-old Little Canada man has been charged with first degree aggravated robbery and second degree assault for a shooting that happened in a Roseville apartment parking lot.
Roseville Police say Lee Murray McCoy was charged on Friday, July 27, by the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office.
Bail has been set at $100,000, and McCoy will make his first court appearance next week.
Police say they were called to an apartment complex at 655 Larpenteur Avenue West around 7:33 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, on reports of shots fired. Witnesses say a suspect fired multiple shots at someone in the Lar-Dale Apartment’s parking lot, and one of the shots hit a lower-lever apartment window.
Witnesses say the suspect fled the scene before police got there, and the victim ran into the building.
The 21-year-old victim was found unharmed in an apartment unit. Police say the victim was initially uncooperative but eventually admitted the incident was a robbery that was the result of an illegal drug sale. The victim knew the suspect.
Maplewood Police were able to find McCoy and arrest him on the 500 block of Skillman Avenue East that Thursday morning.
