EmailVandals Hit 18 Locations in Maple Grove
Police say 18 different vandalism crimes have been reported in three separate neighborhoods in Maple Grove.
The vandals appeared to have hit in the overnight hours, and the damage was discovered the mornings of Tuesday, July 24, and Wednesday, July 25.
According to Captain Keith Terlinden of the Maple Grove Police Department, some words were “quite alarming” and racial in nature. They were all on private properties such as vehicles, homes, and garage doors. Terlinden said they appeared to be random and not targeted at a specific group.
The vandalism was done by spray paint and some sort of chemical or cleaner.
The areas hit were:
7500 block Zennia Way
2100 block of Annapolis Lane
3700 block of 62nd Avenue
7200 block of Sunnyslope Drive
7000 block of Jonquil
