Looking to save money, the U.S. Postal Service is changing the way it operates.
Around the metro, the agency is closing some post offices and selling off the buildings. In September, a company will move into a post office in Cottage Grove that's shutting down. By selling buildings and reorganizing, the Postal Service is cutting costs.
Post offices in Savage and downtown St. Paul are in talks to be sold right now. Properties in Blaine and Northfield are still on the market.
