Sheriff's Office: Man Killed in Apparent Electrocution on Minn. Lake

An Owatonna man died Tuesday when he was reportedly electrocuted on a northern Minnesota lake.
First responders were called to Hill Top Trail in Cohasset around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on a report that three people had possibly been shocked by an extension cord that had fallen from a boat lift into Pokegama Lake.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Office says one of the victims, 22-year-old Robert Stoen, was found unresponsive in the water and taken to Grand Itasca Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Two others, 35-year-old Eric Hancock and 57-year-old Cheryl Hancock, also from Owatonna, were hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
