EmailTarget Opens Smaller 'City' Stores Wednesday
In a move to boost sales, Target is slimming down its stores.
The first "City Targets" open today in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle. The urban stores are about two-thirds the size of a typical Target but still offer most of the same products.
The company says it spent two years planning how it would fit into tighter downtown locations.
Another Los Angeles location and one in Portland are expected to open next year.
