Minnesota 12-Year-Old Wins Trip to White House with Healthy Recipe

A recipe from a 12-year-old in Minnesota is now leading to a trip to the White House.
Twelve-year-old Riley Sorensen was one of 54 winners of a health lunch recipe contest sponsored by Michelle Obama. Riley’s creation was stuffed red peppers and banana oat stacks.
Now, Riley will get to tour the White House vegetable garden and attend a kids’ state dinner next month.
Starting next month, you can find a free cookbook with the winning recipes posted online.
