EmailEvening Lane Closures on I-35E Begin Tonight
Drivers on I-35E may experience delays as the left lane of both directions closes at Maryland Avenue three nights this week.
The first closure is scheduled for 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 24. Additional closures will occur at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, and 8 p.m. on Friday, July 27. Lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the next day.
The Department of Transportation (MnDOT) says the closures are needed as crews continue to build the center pier for the new Maryland Avenue bridge. Planners expect the bridge to remain closed until mid-August.
