A man is dead after police say a train hit him.
The man was hit by a northbound train around 8 p.m. Monday near 77th Way Northeast and East River Road in Fridley. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the railroad company, BNSF, is cooperating, and they don’t suspect foul play.
