EmailMan Drowns in Wright County Lake
A man pulled from a Wright County lake died over the weekend, despite efforts from bystanders to save his life.
A Sheriff's Office spokesperson said deputies, Maple Lake Firefighters and an Allina ambulance were called to Sugar Lake in Corinna Township Saturday afternoon.
When they arrived, they found people performing CPR on 75-year-old Edward Solomon of Menlo Park, California.
"Initial investigation indicates Solomon had been swimming when he went under," said the spokesperson.
An ambulance transported Solomon to St. Cloud Hospital. He died Sunday.
