EmailCar Flees Blaine Police Officer, Crashes in North Metro
A police chase ended with a crash near Interstate-35W and New Brighton Boulevard late Sunday night.
Police say a car sped away from a Blaine police officer around 11:15 p.m. Sunday. Officers thought the people in the car may have been involved in an earlier incident, but that incident is unknown.
The people in the car ran off after the chase, and the Minnesota State Patrol chopper was called into help search. The search was called off around 12:40 a.m.
