House Built by Blaine High School Students is for Sale
Blaine High School students interested in learning about carpentry aren’t just sitting behind desks – they actually built a house.
The 1,352-square-foot house was constructed by students in the high school’s industrial technology class. The house has three bedrooms, a main floor laundry room, a basement, laminate floors, and an open space between the kitchen and family room.
About 75 students were involved in the project.
The home is selling for a minimum price of $51,500, and funds reimburse the district for the materials used. The Anoka-Hennepin School District has sold 15 other houses.
For more information about the house, email tim.nestrud@anoka.k12.mn.us. For information about buying the house, call 763-506-1306.
