Rasmussen College Employees Unite for Community Service Day
Employees from Rasmussen College are rolling up their sleeves and reaching out to others as part of the Fourth Annual Rasmussen Community Service Day.
Thousands of volunteers from Rasmussen’s 22 nationwide campuses will be participating in the annual outreach event this Friday, July 20.
Here in Minnesota, about 500 employees from eight campuses and the central office will be helping United Way partner organizations, a network that focuses on improving education, achieving financial stability, and promoting healthy living.
St. Cloud employees will be doing landscape work at the St. Cloud Children’s Home. Mankato employees will be volunteering at the Open Door Health Clinic, Again Thrift and More, and Primrose Retirement Community. Twin Cities employees will pack goods for local food shelves at Second Harvest Heartland West, interact with kids at the Boys and Girls Club, and volunteer at The Arc to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Last year, volunteers put in 6,500 combined hours to help the community.
Rasmussen College has campuses throughout Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Florida. For more information about Rasmussen College, visit Rasmussen.edu.
