EmailOfficials ID Body Found in Burned Car in Rice Co.
Authorities have identified the body of a man found in a burned car in Rice County.
The Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner's Office used dental records to identify the body as that of 45-year-old Michael Fraser.
Fraser lived in the Northfield area. Toxicology tests are still pending, and the cause of death is also pending.
Authorities say the body was discovered Sunday in the vehicle in rural Cannon City Township.
The Rice County sheriff's office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating.
