Richfield Considers Fire Station Changes to Accommodate Female Firefighters
When Richfield Fire Station #2 was built in the 1960s, there were not any women firefighters, and you can tell.
The station only has one community dorm room, one community bathroom and one community changing/locker room.
Now, the chief is proposing about $900,000 in upgrades to accommodate both men and women firefighters.
Richfield currently has three female firefighters with more on the eligibility list.
