St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman will break ground on a $62 million project Monday afternoon.
The Penfield Project will have 254 housing units and a full-service Lunds grocery store. Downtown St. Paul has been trying to open a Lunds in the area for 10 years.
Lunds just opened another grocery store in downtown Minneapolis last month. They’d been pushing for one there for eight years.
The St. Paul groundbreaking is at 2 p.m. on 10th Street East.
