Bands from Shoreview, Germany Come Together for Joint Concert Tonight

A band from Germany and a band from Shoreview are coming together to perform a joint concert at Bethel University.

Shoreview is hosting the North American Tour of Einhausen, Germany’s Musikcorps Band. The Musikcorps Band is comprised of volunteer firefighters and other Einhausen community members. They perform a mixture of pop, classical rock, and traditional music.

Einhausen is the sister city of Shoreview, and the Shoreview Einhausen Sister City Association has been working to promote friendship and international goodwill between the two groups for more than a decade, according to the city of Shoreview.

The concert takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Bethel University’s Great Hall in Arden Hills. The Shoreview Northern Lights Vairety Band will join them at the concert.

It’s free and open to the public.

The Musikcorps Band will travel 600 miles in 18 days through Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin on the tour.
