EmailXcel Energy Warns Minnesotans of Utility Scam
Xcel Energy says there’s a national scam that’s targeting Minnesota customers.
Scammers give out a bank routing number that they say is from President Obama and then tell the customer they can use it to pay off their utility bill.
That number is fake, and scammers give it out hoping to get customers’ personal information.
