St. Paul's City Council unanimously voted in favor of shutting down the adult section of Backpage.com Wednesday. It's a largely symbolic move.
Backpage.com does not allow solicitations for prostitution, but the council says it's a platform for child trafficking.
The resolution passed Wednesday calls on Village Voice Media to shut down the adult section.
