EmailCupcake Owner Gives Up on Grand Avenue Location, Plans MOA Store
The owner of Cupcake says they are giving up on plans for a Grand Avenue location.
Kevin VanDeraa says he made the decision to give up the location on the one-year anniversary of signing the lease. He says he lost $150,000 because of the delays in opening the store.
There is a new Cupcake location in the works at the Mall of America. It is expected to open sometime in August.
