EmailRobber Hits Edina Bank
A man robbed a bank at 50th and France in Edina Monday morning.
A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said the robbery happened at 10:14 a.m. at the TCF Bank.
"The robber confronted bank employees and demanded money," said an FBI spokesperson.
He ran out of the bank and, according to the spokesperson, is believed to have escaped through the public parking ramp on West 51st Street.
In addition to the surveillance photo, the FBI released this description of the robber:
- White male
- 5' 6" to 5' 8" tall
- 140 to 160 pounds
- black windbreaker
- black fedora hat
- black sunglasses
- black scarf
- black jacket
- black gloves
- tan pants
- black shoes
"If anyone has any information regarding this robbery, they are requested to contact the FBI at (763) 569-8000 or the Edina Police Department at 952-826-1600," said the spokesperson.
