Bull Riding, Horses Bring Crowds to Hamel Rodeo
Horses, bulls, cowboys and more brought hundreds of people to the 31st annual Hamel Rodeo Saturday.
The rodeo, which runs through Sunday, is the largest in the state. It boasts hundreds of competitors and thousands of dollars in prize money. The event also features the Ghost Riders cowboy monkeys.
The Hamel Rodeo is a fundraiser for six area non-profit organizations. It is expected to draw 17,500 people.
