Playpens and mesh cribs for babies and toddlers are getting new safety rules.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission voted yesterday to set mandatory safety rules for play yards. USA Today reports the rules set a minimum height requirement for the side.
Locks will also be required to keep the product from collapsing, and durability and stability tests will be tougher.
