EmailINTERVIEW: Rob Townsend Talks About Upcoming Film 'The Hive'
Director, producer, and actor Robert Townsend, known for "Hollywood Shuffle", "The Five Heartbeats", and "The Meteor Man" is in Minneapolis today to promote his educational drama, "In The Hive."
The feature film is based on an actual school called the Hive, and follows a group of at-risk teens who have been expelled from their public schools. The Hive offers a strict, compassionate environment that turns the lives of these troubled young men around.
The movie screening with a question and answer period will be held at Sabathani Community Center, at 310 East 38th Street in Minneapolis at 7 p.m. tonight. Tickets are $10.
