Natural Resource Defense Council Names Best and Worst Beaches
The Natural Resource Defense Council reviewed thousands of beaches across the nation to find the best and the worst based on amount of waste in the water.
There’s good news – Point Franklin Park and Lafayette Community Beach Club in Minnesota got a five-star rating for cleanliness.
But South Shore Beach in Milwaukee, Wis., was on the list of “repeat offenders” for having consistent contamination problems over the past five years.
