The Metropolitan Mosquito District says this is the worst season it’s seen in years.
Right now, crews are targeting adult mosquitoes. They’ll be out with backpacks spraying and with truck-mounted sprayers when the wind is favorable.
They may even have to tap into emergency funds to cover all the expenses this year.
