Police: Thieves Rip Gold Necklace Off of Woman in St. Paul
Police say thieves grabbed a gold necklace off of a 77-year-old woman walking in St. Paul Thursday.
Authorities say the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday as the woman was walking in the area of Matilda Street and Hatch Avenue.
According to a police report, one suspect put the woman in a bear hug while the other ripped off her gold necklace. The woman, who was in town from San Diego visiting family, was not injured.
Police have not made any arrests. Detailed information on the suspects was not immediately available.
