Governor Mark Dayton traveled to Duluth today to survey the flood damage and discuss how the state can help.
Mayor of Duluth, Don Ness, also accompanied the mayor in answering questions from the press. Ness declared a state of emergency for the area.
Dayton soon after authorized the National Guard to help Duluth Cope with the damage.
